Its finished

After several days of work on this garment I found I was coming to the end.

The right side needed reverse shaping and once again the stitches needed to be slipped back onto 8 mm needles and yarn joined (same process that happened on the left hand side). Following the pattern in reverse, I was able to reduce the 20 stitches to 14 by knitting 2 together and then increase the knitting length to make it equal to the other parts of the waistcoat.  Casting off, as before.

Although this was done, it required time out to sit and work out in reverse.  Also, whilst knitting the garment, it was definitely getting heavy on the wrists, but the even knitting and seeing the garment coming together made it worth while. The shoulders seams, for the right side and then for the left side were sewn together. The broken yarn was removed from the nappy pins and then sewn into the garment to make a tidy finish.

This Completes the garment.

It is my opinion that the waistcoat can now have the themed buttons placed on it and the colours are brilliant for the March Hare. Below are images of the completed garment.
